An image of the ABP NEWS bulletin has been circulating on Social Media with a claim that Cabinet Minister of Madhya Pradesh Govt., Narottam Mishra formed a rebellion of 30 MLAs against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The caption along with the viral image of the news bulletin reads “मध्य प्रदेश के गृहमंत्री नरोत्तम मिश्रा 30 विधायकों के साथ बागी हुए. लगता है मध्यप्रदेश में भी खेला होवे”. (Translation: Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra rebelled along with 30 MLAs. It seems there will be a game played in Madhya Pradesh too.) Archived

The news bulletin along with the same caption is viral on Facebook too.
The viral image in question is morphed and the claim being made is also found to be false. We found most of the posts along with viral images dated 6th or 7th June on Twitter and Facebook. Therefore, we checked all the videos posted by the ABP NEWS on these two dates and found no news of rebellion by Narottam Mishra broadcasted by the news channel. Moreover, we also found in our research that the graphic and the logo used in the viral image are old. ABP NEWS no more uses this graphic and logo.
We also checked the Twitter timeline of the Narottam Mishra and found a video posted on 6th June in which Mishra has rubbished all the claims doing rounds on the social media and also emphasized in the video, “BJP is organized and united under the leadership of the Shivraj Singh Chouhan and VD Sharma and Shivraj Ji was, is and will be the Chief Minister of the state.”

Conclusion: The viral image is morphed and the news of the rebellion in the Madhya Pradesh government is also misleading.
