We were keen to study the matter and bring the real story to the people, Kanwardeep SIngh of TOI first posted this video tagging UP Police to look into this. There was no Islamophobia mentioned in the tweet.

FIR Copy:

A Mother (Usha devi , 27) and her daughter (Pushpanjali, 12) from Ballia district of UP died in a road accident. They were both returning from Kiln( brickyard) and were hit by a car around 12 o’clock on 26 April 2020. According to Amar Ujala , a medical shop owner helped both of them to reach the hospital. Usha devi died on the spot and her daughter died in the hospital. The driver fled the scene, and the police has registered the case against the driver.

Conclusion: So, the claim that Muslim women and her daughter killed in hit-and-run is deliberate and due to Islamophobia is fake and misleading.
