Gujarat: A twitter user (@RenukaJain6) has shared a video with the claim “Bhavnagar to Bharuch distance is 350KM and the distance is covered through sea its just 32KM, and in this route, only a RoRo service has been started by PM Narendra Modi, this RoRo ship can transport approx 50 trucks, 60 Bus, 200 cars and 350 motorcycles, 600 people and it takes just 30 minutes”. “भावनगर से भरूच रोड की दूरी है 350 किलोमीटर , और समुद्री रास्ते से इसकी दूरी है 32 किलोमीटर, और इसी समुद्री रास्ते से प्रधानमंत्री ने जहाज द्वारा एक सर्विस चालू की है इस जहाज की क्षमता एक बार मे 50 ट्रक, 60 बसे, 200 कारे, 350 मोटरसाइकिल, 600 लोगो को, और समय सिर्फ आधे घंटे में”
With a simple reverse image search, we found that the video is from Greece. We found a video posted on YouTube with a caption “Braemar cruising through the Corinth Canal”, uploaded an year ago. The cruise ship BRAEMAR’s transit through the Corinth canal became a historic event as it was the longest vessel that ever transited through the narrow canal. Fred Olsen Cruise Lines shared the breath-taking video on YouTube which has been viewed more than 500k times. “ Take a look at majestic Braemar cruising through the Corinth Canal today – 9th October 2019,” wrote the Norwegian-owned cruise shipping line.
What is RORO?
The twitter user @RenukaJain6 claimed that RoRo service is going to reduce 350 KM distance to 35Km distance and time-traveling to take just 30 minutes. Though the image shared by her is false, The RO-PAX ferry service actually exist. RORO is a terminal at Ghogha, Bhavnagar. According to an article published in Hindi daily Patrika, published in 2018 November it’s true that RO-PAX service from RORO terminal will reduce 310KM distance to just 31Km distance, and the travel time will also reduce. But another claim that it can transit over 50 trucks, 60 buses, 200 cars, and 350 buses is found to be baseless.
The RO-PAX service was inaugurated by CM Vijay Rupani in October 2018,
Flagged off the RO-PAX ferry service today from the RORO terminal at Ghogha, Bhavnagar. The RO-PAX ferry service will boost tourism and generate employment opportunities while saving fuel and reducing transportation costs at the same time. pic.twitter.com/l0QFJja8fE

Conclusion: Though the RO-PAX service from RORO terminal actually exist, it is evident that the twitter user was using the image of a cruise ship from Greece to falsely claim it as RO-PAX service from Gujarat. The above claim is misleading.
