Written by Md Mahfooz Alam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always been in the news for his extravagant outfits and dressing sense, especially regional attires. Many have raised questions on his lavish dressing style in the past. Now, it is being claimed by several users on social media that he changed four dresses while meeting four different politicians in one day.

The caption along the post reads #गजब_की_फकीरी_है_भैया… देख लो कल ही चार लोगों से मिले और चार बार ही कपड़े चेंज किये …”(Translation: look, met four people yesterday and changed clothes four times). Find more claims here, here, here.

The claim with the same caption is viral on Facebook too.

We corroborated the image by checking the Twitter handle of Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat and found the same image posted by his Twitter handle on the 7th of June.

The third image is with the Governor of Manipur Najma Heptullah and the Twitter handle of the Prime Minister office has posted the image on the 10th of June.

We corroborated the image by checking the Twitter handle of Governor Najma Heptullah and found the same image retweeted by her Twitter handle on the 10th of June.
