This poster of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal started going viral after Delhi MLA Shiv Charan Goel shared the images of the inauguration of Moti Nagar speed break on his Twitter account on June 16. Charan Goel then got trolled by netizens on social media.

FactO Check:

Upon several requests to debunk the viral claim, our team did a relevant keyword search and found an old tweet of Prateek Som, a Supreme Court lawyer, on his official Twitter handle which shows the original poster of Arvind Kejriwal that reads as, ‘बधाई! जखीरा गोलचक्कर से मुंडका रोहतक रोड का मर्रम्मत कार्य शूरु’ (Translation: Congratulations! redevelopment work from Jakhira roundabout to Mundka Rohtak road has started).

We also found a video uploaded on Nov 2020 on AAP’s official YouTube channel of the ceremony held to lay the cornerstone for the redevelopment work of Rohtak road connecting Delhi to Haryana. The same poster can be seen at the beginning of the video. The thumbnail of the video reads as, ‘Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal laying the foundation stone of redevelopment of Rohtak road.’

Conclusion: The viral image shared by BJP leaders and several other social media users is morphed.
