On Thursday, 18 November, the official Twitter handles of Uttar Pradesh BJP and Uttar Pradesh Congress posted a video of a woman getting beaten up ruthlessly by a group of men. BJP has claimed that the video is from the Congress-ruled state Rajasthan and Congress has claimed the video to be from BJP-ruled state Uttar Pradesh.
Facto News found out that the incident happened in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.
BJP handle tweetd the video with the caption that reads: “प्रियंका जी जनता जानना चाहती है कि… …कांग्रेस शासित राज्य की लड़की कब लड़ सकेगी?” (Translation: Priyanka Ji public wants to know that…When will the girls from Congress-ruled state be able to fight?)

Congress Twitter handle tweeted the video with the caption that reads: “योगी राज में – ना किसान सुरक्षित है ना जवान सुरक्षित है ना महिलाओं का सम्मान सुरक्षित है कितना शर्मनाक है कि स्मृति ईरानी अमेठी में हैं, और आज वहां ऐसी घटना हो रही है।” (Translation: In Yogi Raj, no farmer is safe, no young man is safe and women are also not safe. It is shameful that Smriti Irani is in Amethi and such an incident is happening there today.)
FactO Check:
We fragmented the video into keyframes using InVID WeVerfify plugin and reverse image searched some of the keyframes. The search led us to a short news report published on 21 November on the website of the All India Media Association and the report has the video with the same visuals attached to it. The report says that the incident happened in Bhatgawan village which comes under Gauriganj police station in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.
The report also says that a woman and her daughter were beaten up by a group of thugs over a land dispute. The woman and daughter got severely injured.
We also found a video with similar visuals tweeted by the TV9 Uttar Pradesh on 17 November. The caption along with the video in Hinds reports that the incident is from Amethi, happened over a land dispute.
The official Twitter handle of Amethi Police has confirmed in a reply to the tweet that the incident happened on 15 November 2021 and the case has been registered under the relevant sections in Gauriganj Police Station.

Abushahma Khan, deputy editor of the Dainik Jagran tagged UP police and posted a video with the same visuals and asked, “Will women be respected in the same way.” He also wrote that the incident happened in Amethi over a land dispute.
Amethi Police replied to his tweet and confirmed that the incident happened on 15 November 2021 and the case has been registered under the relevant sections in Gauriganj Police Station.

We have found Amethi police replying to all handles who have tweeted the video, therefore, it is evident that the video is from Uttar Pradesh.
