“Traveling a lot”: Flávio Bolsonaro criticizes alcohurBre for proximity to Lula

Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) criticized the proximity between the president of Congress, David Alcolumbre (Union-AP), and President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT), noting that both are traveling a lot together ‘.

In an interview with the newspaper The globeFlávio expressed his concern that Alcolumbre is ‘suffering influences from the government’, especially with regard to the issue of amnesty for those involved in the acts of January 8.

“I haven’t talked to the topic yet, I will try next week, with him in Brasilia. David is traveling a lot with Lula, I are worried if he is suffering influences from the government,” said Flávio.

He stressed that the PL was not consulted about the amnesty proposal and criticized the so-called ‘semi-annastia’ that is under discussion. “Until he clarifies that intermediate text is this, this semi-annastia does not exist,” he said.

Governor of São Paulo avoids discussing 2026 elections, but reinforces support to the former president

The senator also defended former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), stating that he remains a central figure on the right and that his candidacy in 2026 is still a possibility, despite the ineligibility.

“I believe in reversing this absurd process of January 8, which puts him as a mentor of something he did not participate in,” said Flavio, classifying the accusations against his father as “political persecution.”

For Flávio, the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), is a key piece in the right project to 2026, but as a candidate for reelection to the São Paulo government.

“Tarcisio is an essential stage for our project for 2026, being the candidate for reelection for governor,” said the senator.

The former president’s son also criticized former President Michel Temer, who is articulating a front of right-wing governors to occupy Bolsonaro’s political space.

Flávio stressed that Temer “has no electoral leadership” and pointed out Alexandre de Moraes’s nomination to the Supreme Court (STF) as a “bad precedent” of the former president’s choices.

“For whom Bolsonaro points, the right goes. The movement is legitimate from the governors, but there is no vacuum of power. The people are sensitized with so many persecution, and Bolsonaro is in their right to claim their candidacy. No one will win by WO,” he added.

Flávio stressed that the Bolsonaro family remains united around the former president’s leadership and that there is no definite deadline to choose a possible substitute if Bolsonaro remains ineligible.

“There is no deadline for Bolsonaro. He is still in this battle for being the most prepared to lead Brazil from 2027,” he concluded.
