Children eat bullet with marijuana and get sick; Haribo Sweets from the Netherlands
German manufacturer Haribo removed the “Happy Cola” sweets from the Netherlands after marijuana detection in at least three packaging.
What happened
The consumption of contaminated products caused discomfort in several people, including children. The collection of items was done today, after the Dutch Food Security Authority (NVWA) identify cannabis traits in the products. The manufacture of glue bottles has come since 1965.
Dutch agency advises consumers to return sweets for reimbursement. Official statement was published by NVWA on social networks and is valid for bags of 1 kilo (2.2 pounds) sold in the Netherlands, with expiration date (BBD) of January 2026 and the L341-4002307906.
