Three die and tens are injured in a place of distribution of help in Gaza
GHF, a private group sponsored by the United States and endorsed by Israel, said there were no deaths or injured at its distribution site or in the surrounding area.
Reuters could not independently verify what happened.
The reported incident was the latest in a series that emphasizes the volatile security situation that has complicated the delivery of help to Gaza, after the flexibility last month of an Israeli block for almost three months.
On Sunday, Palestinian and International authorities said at least 31 people were killed and dozens were injured near the same place, one of several operated by the Humanitarian Foundation Gaza in Rafah.
The Israeli military denied having fired at the people who gathered to collect help, and GHF said Sunday’s distribution was made without incidents, describing reports of deaths as manufactured by Hamas.
In an update at the beginning of Monday, GHF said it distributed the load of 21 trucks to the Palestinians. He added that Monday’s deliveries raised to nearly 6 million the number of meals distributed since the beginning of their operations.
