Iran’s supreme leader said Israel’s fate will be “miserable.” After Israel’s first wave of attacks, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Iranian retaliation would be harsh: “The Zionist regime committed a crime in our country with its wicked hand and revealed its wicked nature by attacking residential areas (…) Iran’s armed forces will make the miserable scoundrel regime.”
Hours after attacks on Iranian targets, the leader offered condolences to the victims. In a social networking publication, Ayatollah said the loss of generals and academics in the nuclear posts was a great sacrifice. He also cited the death of civilians.
The retaliation
Dozens of missiles came out to the Israeli country: “Decisive response to the brutal attack of the Zionist regime began with the shooting of hundreds of ballistic missiles against the occupied territories.” The country’s air defense system acts on military interception.
Israelis are in shelters. Two fighters of Tel Aviv have already been slaughtered and the Iranian press says an Israeli pilot has been captured.
At least 34 injured and one dead. The Israeli Rescue Service, MDA (Magn David Adom), reported to the press that the victims had minor injuries and are being rescued. According to the police forces of the country, people were hit by shrapnel of ballistic interceptors.
