The offensive happens after the government of Benjamin Netanyahu announced that it reached nuclear facilities in the Persian country.
Iran says it has aimed Israeli intelligence center “near a hospital.” “In this operation, the Israeli government’s command and intelligence center was the target of an accurate attack near a hospital,” Iranian revolutionary guard told the Irna state news agency.
Israel also carried out attacks on Iran. According to the Israeli army, the targets were nuclear facilities, including the heavy water reactor and the installation of Natanz. Iran’s official news agency states that the country has denounced the attack on the International Atomic Energy Agency, accusing Israel of “continuing its aggressions and actions contrary to international laws that prohibit attacks on nuclear facilities.” Also according to the news agency, there were no victims in the attack on the Arak nuclear power plant.
Iran confirmed the attack and said there are no reports of threat of radiation. According to the country, the two projectiles reached an area near the nuclear installation, which had already been evacuated.
