After sick during the barbecue in the Goiás fridge, Bolsonaro canceled his commitments in the state. The information was confirmed through a statement published on the social networks of the mayor of Anápolis, Márcio Corrêa (PL), a city where Bolsonaro had expected participation.

In the statement, the mayor reported that Bolsonaro was taken back to Brasilia, without giving further details about the former president’s state of health.

Judge Wilton Salomão, from the Goiás Regional Court, suspended the promotion and justified that the sale of prime meat at a lower price than the market revealed evidence of “possibly abusive conduct of economic power over the legitimacy and isonomy of the electoral process”. The decision also determined a fine of $ 10,000 per hour when the promotion was published in the air.

The prosecutor also requested the opening of an inquiry in the Federal Police to investigate the action. According to the request, the promotion was characterized as “electoral propaganda analogous to the mouth of the ballot box with voter regimentation; promotion of political party propaganda or its candidate; and the publication of content in internet applications on election day.”
