Anvisa determines glucose meter collection
In the case of glycosimeter, the OKPR000266498, OKPR000266508 and OKPR000266509 are suspended. According to the agency, the suspension of equipment is definitive.
Already the two lots of the strips, called “family for glucose test ok Pro”, are the HHH240415B-1 and B30025B25-1. As the precautionary interdiction represents a preventive measure that aims to temporarily prevent the manufacture, marketing and use of a product until it is appropriate to the established rules, the measure may be reversed.
Anvisa advises users immediately to contact the manufacturer’s customer customer service (SAC) by email [email protected], for more information regarding the collection and replacement of products.
Glosimeter: What is it for?
Glycosimeter is an important device for blood glucose self -monitoring and helps the patient with diabetes understand as factors such as diet, physical activity and medications affect their blood glucose, contributing to disease control.
The device measures the blood glucose level from a gout usually harvested from the finger. Blood is placed on a reagent tape that, upon contact with glucose, generates a signal that the device translates into number, allowing sugar rate to evaluate and its comparison with the desired level.
