Nurse who acted in Gaza fears more hunger deaths and criticize
If the situation does not change from the supply entry, the numbers with malnutrition -related dead, they will increase more and more.
Ruth Moreira Barros, Nurse of Doctors Without Borders
In the interview with Facto News Newsthe Nurse of Doctors Without Borders also criticized Israel’s blockade to the Gaza Strip, interrupting the entry of help with food.
Prior to this siege that Israel is doing, before starting this conflict, about 500 trucks per day in the Gaza Strip for the supplies were entered.
Currently we have an entry of less than 20, 28 trucks a day and we know that the problem is not as surrender, it is access to itself.
What we really need is that the Israeli authorities open the doors and allow this material to reach. They have supplies, we are able to provide support to the population of Gaza, but unfortunately we are still blocked.
