Minister warns army chief about Israel’s action in Gaza
After nearby sources claim that Israel’s army chief of staff Eyal Zamir would be opposed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to fully occupy the Gaza Strip, Defense Minister Israel Katz came to the public warning the commander. He said that Zamir has the right to express his opinion, but should “execute with determination” government political decisions. In France, researchers appeal to Emmanuel Macron’s urgent action against Israel.
Benjamin Netanyahu should soon announce a new phase of operations in Palestinian territory, but the attention this week turned to the opposition of the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, to the total occupation of the Gaza Strip. He fears that this project endanger the hostages and soldiers.
