Lula will be meeting with Alckmin about measures to sectors affected by tariff
President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva meets with the Deputy and Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services, Geraldo Alckmin, this Monday (11), at 17h. President will be expected to deliberate on the package of measures to support sectors affected by 50% tariffs imposed by the United States government to Brazilian products.
Alckmin would participate on Monday in the launch of the Export Qualification Program (Peiex), in São Paulo, but the event was postponed by the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apexbrasil) due to the convening of the meeting at the Planalto Palace by Lula. Last week, the vice president said the decision on the measures would be announced until next Tuesday (12)
