PF will investigate amendment of R $ 6 million of PL deputy
By determination of Minister Flávio Dino of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), R $ 6 million from an amendment by Deputy Alberto Fraga (PL-GO) to the health area of the Federal District will have to be returned. Dino ordered the Federal Police and the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) to investigate suspicions of irregularities in the use of public resources.
In a statement, Fraga stated that he has no responsibility for the execution of money and “reaffirms his commitment to the correct application of public resources and the transparency of administrative acts.” “Any inconsistencies must be determined responsibly, respecting the legal and contradictory procedures of the institutions involved.” The DF Health Department said it “works transparently with the control bodies.”
The decision was made after the Ministry of Health pointed out that the execution of the amendment “showed incompatibility with market prices.” The funds were intended for the project A Tent+, focused on itinerant medical care in the DF.
