US government announces revocation of
Political commentator Paulo Figueiredo told his column this afternoon that the state department got married, by determination of the White House, the visas of the Minister of Justice, Ricardo Lewandowski, and former Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG).
Minister Ricardo Lewandowski’s staff said he did not receive any notification from the US government. Sought, Senator Rodrigo Pacheco did not answer. The space is still open.
The two were already on lists prepared by Figueiredo and federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), who lead the Bolsonist investment in Washington. Former STF minister Lewandowski voted against Bolsonaro in various trials before taking office in the Lula administration. When he commanded Congress, Pacheco was criticized by pockets for not accepting to open impeachment processes against ministers of the Supreme.
For the sake of data privacy of the holders of visas, the US does not usually disclose the names of those who had the visa revoked. The recent exception was Minister Alexandre de Moraes, whose punishment was made public by the State Department. His court colleagues, however, did not have the names cited by the State Department.
