Pentagon prevented Ukraine from attacking Russia with missiles, says newspaper

The US has prevented Ukraine from firing long-range missiles in Russian territory, US officials told Wall Street Journal.

What happened

Many long -range missiles in possession of Ukraine were manufactured in the US. The equipment was provided in support of the European country in the confrontation against Russia.

Weapons undergo “review mechanism” before being used. As the WSJ explained, the Pentagon evaluates Kiev’s requests to shoot long-range missiles provided by the US or even other countries, but which used technology or US components.
