‘Government of Brazil on the side of the Brazilian people’
The new slogan has two main messages.
First, Brazil defends its sovereignty in the face of the attacks of the US representative, who unilaterally decided to establish surcharge against Brazilian products and sanction the Supreme Court Minister, Alexandre de Moraes, in an attempt to influence the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro.
Second, the Lula government has one side: “The side of the people.” The idea is to reinforce the social position of the government, which has been seeking tax justice and support measures to the neediest population.
It also acts as a counterpoint against the Bolsonaro and eventual opposition candidates, which has been accused by the left of defending the United States in the dispute.
When he began his mandate, the management slogan was “union and reconstruction” to pass the idea of the broad front that elected Lula with the aim of “rebuilding the country after Bolsonaro’s government disaster and January 8 attacks.”
Now, with the center parties threatening to embark on a right -wing candidacy, Lula hugged the new motors.
