USA consider the flight of Russian drones over Poland unacceptable
The US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, said today that the foray of Russian drones in Polish airspace this week is unacceptable, but it is unclear whether Russia had deliberately sent drones to Polish territory.
NATO announced plans to reinforce the defense of the Eastern flank in Europe on Friday, after Poland raised drones that had violated its airspace, the first shots, which has been registered, fired by a member of the Western Alliance during the Russian War in Ukraine.
“We think it is an unacceptable, unhappy and dangerous unfolding,” Rubio told reporters before leaving for a trip to Israel and the United Kingdom.
