After withdrawing “Bald of the INSS”, CPMI wants to hear six witnesses on Thursday
The president and rapporteur of the INSS’s Joint Parliamentary Committee (CPMI), Senator Carlos Viana (Somos-MG) and Deputy Alfredo Gaspar (Union-AL), met with government and opposition leaders on Monday afternoon (15), to decide the next steps of the commission, after the withdrawal of Antonio Carlos Camilo Antunes, known as “Bald of the INSS”.
According to the chairman of the committee, on Tuesday there will be an extrapautate session to vote for six requests for attendance on Thursday (18), as witnesses, of the following names: Tânia Carvalho dos Santos and Romeu Carvalho Antunes, wife and son of “Bald”, Rubens Oliveira Costa, Milton Salvador de Almeida Junior, also partner and Cecilia Montalvão, wife of Maurício Camisotti, also target of the Federal Police.

“It is an answer that CPMI wants to give the lack of seriousness of Antonio Carlos Camilo’s lawyer, regarding the agreement that was made with us,” said Carlos Viana. Everyone involved is initially being called as guests.
According to the rapporteur, “Brazil does not want to know of ideology A or B, wants to know who stole retirees and pensioners.”
“Our concern now is to receive the bank and telephone secrecy breaks, which are more important, and I have confidence that names that are already arrested and will be arrested to start collaborating,” said rapporteur Alfredo Gaspar.
