Trump’s ‘border tsar’ accepted $ 266,000 in bribery operation
President Donald Trump’s “border tsar”, Tom Homan, accepted a $ 50,000 package ($ 266,000 at the current quotation) of a disguised FBI agent last year in a US Department of Justice bribe investigation, two sources familiar with the matter said.
In the alleged scheme, Homan promised immigration -related government contracts when he joined the Trump government in exchange for money, the sources said, speaking anonymous to discuss non -public investigations.
FBI director Kash Patel ordered the closing of the investigation during the summer, said one of the sources. It was not possible to contact Homan to comment on the topic.
