“I don’t want to be president, I want to be a first lady,” says Michelle Bolsonaro

Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro said during a PL event on Saturday, 27, that she does not want to be a candidate for president and asked the co-religionists to work to elect Jair Bolsonaro to office-the former president is currently ineligible and under house arrest.

Michelle also criticized the Federal Supreme Court (STF) and said she has been the target of “humiliation” for undergoing police magazine during the fulfillment of Bolsonaro’s house arrest.

The former first lady attended a PL Woman meeting in Ji-Paraná, Rondônia.

In an interview published last Wednesday, 24, granted to the British newspaper The TelegraphMichelle had admitted that she could assume an application if necessary to defend Jair Bolsonaro’s legacy.

At this Saturday’s event, she said it will be Bolsonaro’s “voice” for Brazil and even abroad.

“We need to elect the largest number of deputies and senators in 2026 and we will work to reelect our President Jair Bolsonaro. Because I don’t want to be president, no, I want to be a first lady. And I know that the refund of our nation will come,” he said.

She criticized the electronic anklet applied to Bolsonaro by Minister Alexandre de Moraes and complained about the imposition of police magazine for the entrances and exits of his home.

“Not even a drug dealer and bandit is having the treatment that I am today in my house. My daughter witnessing this humiliation, this violation of rights because she is not to blame, and her car has to be searched when she leaves and she arrives. A 14 -year -old girl was searched,” said Michelle.

These restrictions were imposed by Moraes after decreing Bolsonaro’s house arrest in early August, in the face of non -compliance with previous precautionary measures.
