‘Victims of a System’, says the cousin of women murdered in Argentina
“They were victims of a system” that forced them to prostitute themselves and had the “unlucky” of being “wrong people,” AFP told Federico Celedon, cousin of two of the three brutally murdered young people in a crime that moved Argentina.
The bodies of Brenda del Castillo (20), Morena Verdi (20) and Lara Gutiérrez (15) were found on September 24, buried in a house in Florencio Varela, outside Buenos Aires, five days after the disappearance.
The crime, which investigators suspect having calls with drug trafficking, was broadcast on social networks to a closed group of about 45 people as an act of “instruction” by a trafficking chief, said the Minister of Security of the Province of Buenos Aires, Javier Alonso.
