Epson Internacional Pano Awards 2025 received entries from photographers from 92 countries and had Brazilians among the finalists

The winners of the biggest international award dedicated to panoramic photography were announced this week, bringing together images of nature in all its grandeur.

Panoramic photography is a technique that allows you to capture scenes at much wider angles than a common photo — whether with professional cameras or even smartphones. This makes it possible for both professionals and amateurs to record wide landscapes, with the angle that the eyes see.

The overall winner of the Epson International Pano Awards 2025, which received entries from 92 countries, was Italian Alessandro Cantarelli, with three stunning images of nature from his country, Norway and Algeria.

In “Last fireworks”, he portrayed an Algerian desert at sunset ‘painted’ with fire and gold. The photo also won in the Nature/Landscape category.

Nyun received the title of Amateur Photographer of the Year with “Altiplano landscape”. The image was taken in the Bolivian highlands with a drone and shows the red desert and fresh, white snow in the background.
