Russia attacks Ukraine on a large scale and kills people
Bombings from Moscow during the previous two nights against the same region caused at least four deaths, including a 17-year-old teenager.
Police reported a “large-scale attack” against two districts of the city of Kharkiv, the capital of the region of the same name, which caused damage to “more than ten residential buildings”.
Security forces reported “36 injuries, including children”, in the region.
The governor of Kharkiv, Oleg Sinegubov, reported that Russian forces launched 19 drones against the city close to the border, the second most populous in the country before the invasion initiated by Moscow in February 2022.
“A nine-story building was hit and suffered a fire,” he said.
This morning, all of Ukraine was on air alert. Authorities in several cities in the west of the country have asked residents to adopt precautionary measures.
