Bolsonaro’s defense says it will take legal action after Moraes refuses request
Jair Bolsonaro’s defense stated that he will adopt appropriate legal measures to reverse the decision of the Supreme Court minister, Alexandre de Moraes, who denied the former president’s transfer to a private hospital for tests after hitting his head during a fall in prison.
“The defense is taking the appropriate legal measures and will not weaken in the face of a state of affairs that seriously undermines the principle of human dignity, so dear in legislation,” said lawyer Paulo Cunha Bueno.
For the lawyer, the decision is unjustified and a violation of rights, since a head trauma requires laboratory investigation and not just clinical investigation, as offered at the Federal Police facilities. — where Bolsonaro has been imprisoned since November 22nd.

Earlier, Moraes rejected Bolsonaro’s defense request for the former president to be taken to the hospital for tests.
In a publication on the X network, Bueno compared the former president’s case to former president Fernando Collor de Mello, who is under house arrest due to his advanced age and health issues.
Jair Bolsonaro had at least three requests for transfer to the hospital denied by Moraes. The refusal is based on a medical report, requested from the Federal Police and which indicates that the former president had signs of having fallen out of bed during the night, resulting in a mild trauma and which, at first, does not require in-depth investigation.
