Moraes authorizes semi-open regime for Walter Delgatti

Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), authorized hacker Walter Delgatti Netto to progress to the semi-open regime. He was sentenced to eight years and three months in prison for the invasion of the National Justice Council (CNJ) systems.

Delgatti has already served 20% of his sentence, a requirement for progressing through the regime. Now, he will be transferred to an “agricultural, industrial colony or similar establishment”, as determined by Moraes.

Delgatti was convicted along with former federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP), who was arrested in Italy and faces extradition proceedings.
