Moraes authorizes Michelle’s brother and advisors to deliver meals to Bolsonaro
Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), authorized the registration of four people nominated by the defense of former president Jair Bolsonaro for the daily delivery of special food during the sentence in the General Staff Room in Papudinha, a building within the Papuda Penitentiary Complex, in Brasília. The authorization is contained in an order issued this Friday, the 16th.
Among the authorized delivery people is the brother of former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro, Carlos Eduardo Antunes Torres and two other PL advisors. The measure follows a previous decision by the Rapporteur who determined Bolsonaro’s immediate transfer to the PMDF unit and authorized a series of special measures.
Among the authorizations granted are comprehensive medical assistance by private professionals, 24 hours a day, without the need for prior communication; immediate travel to hospitals in case of emergency, with subsequent communication to the court; carrying out physiotherapy sessions on days and times indicated by doctors; and permanent medical care provided by the penitentiary system, on an on-call basis.
In the same order, Moraes also authorized the installation of protective bars, support bars and physiotherapy equipment in the custody accommodations, at the discretion of the defense, in compliance with medical recommendations already presented in the process. Bolsonaro had a crisis during the early hours of last Tuesday, the 6th, he fell and hit his head on a piece of furniture in the General Staff room of the PF Superintendence, where he was trapped until this Thursday, the 15th.
