Bolsonaro asks to receive Nikolas, Portinho and other PL members at Papudinha
The defense of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) asked minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), for authorization for him to receive visits from federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), the leader of the PL in the Senate, Carlos Portinho (PL-RJ), senator Bruno Bonetti (PL-RJ) and federal deputy Sanderson (PL-RS).
Bolsonaro is serving a sentence of 27 years and three months in prison for attempting a coup d’état in the prison known as “Papudinha”, in Brasília. Visits must be authorized by Moraes.

The request comes one day after Moraes denied authorization for Bolsonaro to receive the national president of the PL, Valdemar Costa Neto, and senator Magno Malta (PL-ES).

In the decision, the minister cited the fact that Valdemar was under investigation in the same process that investigates the coup attempt and registered disciplinary issues in the case of Malta, who allegedly tried to enter the prison unit without judicial permission.
The defense argues that the visits are necessary to allow “direct dialogue” with the former president, without defining specific dates in the document. Among the parliamentarians mentioned, Nikolas Ferreira gained prominence for having recently led a mobilization on foot of around 240 kilometers in support of Bolsonaro, which began in Paracatu (MG) and concluded in Brasília last Sunday.
