Director General of the PF says that investigations into the Master case are moving towards a final report
The director general of the Federal Police (PF), Andrei Rodrigues, stated this Tuesday that investigations into the Master case are moving towards the preparation of a final report. The statement was given during a press conference, in which he highlighted that the ongoing investigations have a defined objective and continue without ruling out any hypothesis.
The investigation into Banco Master fraud is being processed at the Federal Supreme Court (STF), under the report of Minister Dias Toffoli. On January 16, he gave another 60 days for the PF to complete the investigation of this main investigation, which would be in March.

The director general stated that there is currently a “very clear” focus on the ongoing investigations involving the Master case, both at the Federal Supreme Court (STF) and at first instance. According to him, the investigations do not aim to “go back in time to understand what happened”, but to move forward from a delimited object.
Opportunity with security!
— We are moving towards a final report and forwarding all the findings, without ruling out any hypothesis — said Andrei.
He added that the Federal Police’s strategy has been to avoid dispersing the main focus of the investigation, even though other elements have emerged throughout the work. According to the general director, any parallel findings will not be ignored.
— We try not to pollute the main object with other finds, but we will not discard any finding — he said.
