Marco Feliciano calls Carnival “bacchanal in public”
Federal deputy Marco Feliciano (PL-SP) provoked a reaction on social media by classifying Carnival as a “true bacchanal in public” and stating that the party would be marked by “nudity, sex, drugs and alcohol”. The statement was made during a speech at the tribune and quickly had repercussions on political profiles.
In his speech, Feliciano questioned whether “it’s all worth it”, in reference to the celebrations held in several cities across the country during the carnival period. The parliamentarian is an evangelical pastor and tends to adopt conservative positions on issues related to customs and behavior.
