Bolsonaro prepares list of PL pre-candidates for the Senate and governments
Former councilor Carlos Bolsonaro (PL) stated this Saturday (21) that former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), who is imprisoned in Brasília, is “initially preparing a list of pre-candidates for the Senate, state governments and other equally relevant political participation”. In a post on social media, the former parliamentarian states that his father asked that the information be disclosed by him to allies.
“My father, a political prisoner, continues to sob intensely and, yesterday, he suffered a severe bout of vomiting throughout the afternoon. Even so, he asked me to inform you that he is initially preparing a list of pre-candidates for the Senate, state governments and other equally relevant political participations”, wrote Carlos.
Lucid and constructive
The former councilor also stated that, “even in the face of the evident degradation of his health”, the father remains “focused, lucid and constructive”. In addition to Carlos, federal deputies Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) and Ubiratan Sanderson (PL-RS) also visited the former president this Saturday,
The former president has been serving his sentence at Papudinha since January 15, after being transferred to the unit by Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes. Bolsonaro was sentenced to 27 years in prison for attempted coup.
Since Bolsonaro was transferred to Papudinha, the prison unit has consolidated itself as a point of political validation for Bolsonarism, where state scenarios are presented, alliances are debated and strategic decisions receive the approval of the former president.
The circuit is discrete but structured. Lawyers and their children maintain permanent dialogue with party leaders and receive orders from Bolsonaro. From then on, assessments circulated about the setting up of platforms, warnings about autonomous movements of allies and guidelines for the October election.
