Alckmin: candidate decision will be later, in SP we have Haddad, Tebet and França

The Minister of Development, Industry and Commerce, Geraldo Alckmin, stated, this Friday, 6 that the decision on whether to apply this year will only happen “later on”. He spoke to the press after an event in Colatina (ES) together with the Ministry of Health.

“The definition of candidacies will be a little later. In São Paulo, what have we heard there? We already have Fernando Haddad, who is a great candidate, I joke that he is a great candidate for everything. Márcio França, who was governor, is a minister in President Lula’s government. Simone Tebet, who could go to São Paulo”, he stated.

He repeated that he will leave his position as minister at the beginning of April, respecting the rule of non-compatibilization of electoral legislation and that he does not need to do the same in the case of the vice-presidency. He did not want to answer whether he will repeat the ticket with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Sila (PT) in October.

“This is a further definition. But I want to say that I am very honored and very happy to participate with President Lula, helping Brazil”, he added.
