Bolsonaro has hiccups even after surgery and will undergo a new intervention

The medical procedure that former president Jair Bolsonaro undergoes this Friday is expected to last five hours, former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro said earlier in a post on Instagram.

Around 9:30 this morning, Michelle published that the former president had just gone to the operating room and that, according to the orthopedic doctor, there would be two hours of preparation, to place the medication catheter, and three hours of surgery.

“The restrictions remain the same: while I am in bed, I will not be able to use my cell phone. As I receive news from the surgical center, I will keep you informed”, said the former first lady, who thanked everyone for their affection and said to remain in prayer.

Former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) undergoes surgery on his right shoulder at the DF Star Hospital, in Brasília. According to medical reports sent to the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Bolsonaro complains of “recurrent and intermittent pain” in the area and needs to use analgesic medication daily. The procedure was authorized by STF minister Alexandre de Moraes, following a request from the defense.
