Among voters who became aware of the Dark Horse case, 64% believe that Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) acted badly when asking Daniel Vorcaro for money. Among the senator’s voters, only 37% believe that he was wrong to turn to the banker, who invested R$61 million in the film’s production.

This is what a Datafolha survey carried out on May 20th and 21st with 2,004 interviewees in 139 cities points out. The margin of error in the survey, registered with the Electoral Court under code BR-07489/2026, is plus or minus two points.

Last week, the website Intercept Brasil revealed that Flávio had requested financial resources from the then banker Daniel Vorcaro to produce the film “Dark Horse”, based on the political trajectory of Jair Bolsonaro. Vorcaro, currently in prison, commanded Banco Master, an institution at the center of one of the biggest recent scandals in the Brazilian financial system.

According to Datafolha, 64% of the sample of interviewees were aware of the conversations between Flávio and Vorcaro. Another 36% of those interviewed by the survey said they had not heard about the case.

For 72% of voters, Flávio and Vorcaro have a close relationship. Among those who vote for the senator, 54% think they are close.

According to the survey, 48% of voters think that Flavio should give up his candidacy and support another candidate after the Dark Horse case. Furthermore, 38% were thinking about voting for the senator before the conversations were released.

Among those who were already thinking about voting for Flávio, 67% had no change in confidence after the messages were revealed.
