After audio about Vorcaro, Bolsonaro tells Flávio that Michelle will not be a candidate
Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) stated that he received support from former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) after the release of audios and messages involving requests for resources from businessman Daniel Vorcaro for the production of a film about the political trajectory of the former head of the Executive.
According to a report made to CNN Brasil, Flávio visited his father on Wednesday (13), hours after the publication of the report by Intercept Braziland heard from Bolsonaro that he should “stand firm” in the face of the repercussions of the case.
According to the senator, Jair Bolsonaro also rejected any possibility of former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro running for President of the Republic in 2026.
“I also said that there is no possibility of Michelle being a candidate for President”, declared Flávio when reporting the conversation.
Understand the case
On Wednesday, the Intercept Brazil published audio records and exchanges of messages attributed to Flávio Bolsonaro in which the senator negotiates financial support with Daniel Vorcaro, founder of Banco Master, to complete the film Dark Horse.
The film portrays Jair Bolsonaro’s political trajectory and was being presented by the former president’s allies as an international production aimed at a conservative audience.

Investigation says that the group allegedly carried out threats, invaded systems and protected the interests of the Banco Master scheme
Flávio confirmed the authenticity of the audios, but denied irregularities and stated that it was a legitimate search for private financing.
According to the report, the senator would have requested around US$24 million in 2025 for the production of the film. The published material indicates that Vorcaro promised payment in 14 installments, although part of the funds was not paid.
In one of the audios released, Flávio expresses concern about financial delays in the production and mentions the impact that a possible default could have on the project’s international team.
“Imagine us defaulting on Jim Caviezel, Cyrus (Nowrasteh)”, says the senator in the excerpt published by Intercept.
Jim Caviezel is the actor chosen to play Jair Bolsonaro in the film. Cyrus Nowrasteh is directing the work.
After the repercussions, Flávio released a public statement trying to differentiate his relationship with Vorcaro from the investigations involving Banco Master.
The senator stated that he only met the banker in December 2024, when, according to him, there were still no public accusations against the businessman. In the note, Flávio also denied having offered advantages, brokered deals or used public resources to finance the film.
“What happened was a son seeking private sponsorship for a private film about his own father’s story,” he declared.
The senator took advantage of the crisis to once again defend the installation of a Banco Master CPI in Congress.
“More than ever, it is essential to install Banco Master’s CPI. It is necessary to separate the innocent from the criminals”, he stated.

“More than ever, the installation of Banco Master’s CPI is essential. It is necessary to separate the innocent from the criminals. In our case, what happened was a son, seeking PRIVATE sponsorship for a PRIVATE film about his own father’s story. Zero public money. Zero Rouanet law. I met Daniel Vorcaro in December 2024, when the Bolsonaro government had already ended, and when there were no accusations or public suspicions about the banker. Contact is resumed when there is delay in paying the sponsorship installments necessary for the completion of the film. I did not offer any advantages in return. I did not promote private meetings outside the agenda. Therefore, I reiterate, CPI from MASTER JÁ.
