After ‘chemistry’, Lula and Trump’s meeting should be in Malaysia. Just for photo?

Lula se gaba da

After the recent dance of rapprochement between the two presidents, the meeting between Lula and Donald Trump to smooth things over after the tariffs could take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on the sidelines of the Asean (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Summit, which will take place between October 26th and 28th, reports Amanda Klein.

The meeting would be another “photo opportunity”, since the tough negotiation over tariffs remains in the hands of specialized teams.

Commentator Leonardo Sakamoto hopes that the meeting will not just be a photo op, but that it will actually make progress, both on the issue of tariffs and sanctions on Brazilian authorities.
