After instrumentalizing Biden’s health, Trump says he is ‘sad’

In June 2024, a disastrous participation in a debate with Trump opened a discussion within his own party about his ability to go to the polls.

Weeks later, under strong pressure from his allies, Biden agreed to withdraw from the race and allow Kamala Harris to be the Democratic candidate.

After taking over the White House, Trump also started using Biden’s health situation to accuse the press of hiding from Americans what he insists to be “the Democrat’s real situation”.

In February 2024, medical examinations indicated that there was no “new concern” with the health of the president and that he was “fit for work”.

Also on social networks, Kamala wrote this Sunday that “Joe is a fighter”.

“Doug and I were sad to learn of President Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis. We are keeping him, Dr. Biden and all his family in our hearts and prayers during this period. Joe is a fighter – and I know he will face this challenge with the same strength, resilience and optimism that always defined his life and leadership. We hope he has a complete and quick recovery,” he said.
