The Vice President of the Republic and Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB)stated this Friday (20), through social media, that the fiscal adjustment proposal enacted this afternoon by the National Congress is “further proof” that the current government management is one of “dialogue and rebuilding the credibility of the Brazil”.

The Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) of the fiscal package regulates “super salaries” in ordinary law, introduces changes to the salary bonus and Fundeb, extends the Untying of Union Revenues (DRU) and allows budget adjustment in subsidies and grants.

“Since the transition, in 2022, we have said that this would be the government of dialogue and rebuilding Brazil’s credibility. Today’s victory is further proof of this”, wrote Alckmin on his official account on X (formerly Twitter), in reference to the approval of the tax package.
