Alckmin reiterated that the Mercosur-European Union agreement will be signed on December 20 and that the bloc must also have other smaller agreements, expanding tariff preferences, but not free trade. In the latter case, he cited India as an example.
“On the other hand, with Mexico, we are working to expand the tariff preference lines. It is not free trade, but you have few tariff preference lines, this will be expanded. And Mercosur-India is also not free trade, but expansion of the tariff preference lines”, added Alckmin.
