Alckmin says that Brazil is dialoguing with US “with reserve” about tariffs
BRASILIA (Reuters)-Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services, Geraldo Alckmin, said on Monday that the Brazilian government is dialoguing with the United States government about rates by institutional and reserve channels.

In a press interview, Alckmin did not present concrete elements about the negotiation, but said that all government’s commitment this week is to “solve the problem” of 50% tax on Brazilian products exported to the US, scheduled to take effect on August 1.
