Anvisa suspends sale and use of Chinese company prostheses

Anvisa suspended last Friday the commercialization, distribution, import, advertising and use of different products from the Chinese company Shanghai Dong Yue Medical Health Product Co., Ltd. immediately.

What happened

Anvisa published a decision in the Official Gazette on Friday. According to the decision, 47 irregularities were found in the inspection held between April 28 and May 1 this year.

These irregularities have been classified as a “larger” and “critical” risk class and may compromise the quality and safety of manufactured products that can be imported into Brazil.
