As part of the complaint, Judge María Servini ordered last week that the Central Bank would provide information on the operations carried out by the president and his sister, presidential secretary Karina Milei.

It also requested reports on banking and stock market for entrepreneurs linked to cryptocurrency.

The Congress formed a parliamentary committee investigating and summoned the chief of staff, Guillermo Franco, to explain the case.

Franks, who answered the legislators’ questions on April 29, denied that the case was a fraud and asked to wait for the judicial investigation.

The Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, the Minister of Justice, Mariano Cunneo Libarona, and the head of the National Value Commission, Roberto Silva, were also called by the congress, but filed an apology in writing.
