Bolsonaro is for democracy what Marcola is for freedom. And Hitler in 33
Necessary note: in the democratic justice system, of which the press is not a part, everyone has the right to defense — which includes a criminal like Marcola and a coup leader like Bolsonaro, who practiced institutional banditry.
Below, in red (a tribute to his Trumpist wisdom) is the text signed by the former president. I comment in blue.

The winds of democracy blow with a well-defined direction and meaning. In Argentina, Brazil and the United States, the majority of voters choose right-wing candidates, parties and programs. Some analysts and political scientists, uncomfortable with sovereign popular decisions, try to present many of these movements as if they were a shift “to the center”. It is not. Just pay attention to the proposals recently approved at the polls.
As is clear, Bolsonaro is uncomfortable with the evidence that, in fact, who won the municipal elections, to no one’s surprise, was the centrão, which some call the “center”. The left’s performance was effectively modest. But don’t tell me he’s sad about this and ended the week on Folha, after an interview published in three consecutive editions, just to celebrate the poor performance of his ideological opponents.
As for the winds… There was a belief, for a long time in the Middle Ages, that female vultures were inseminated by the wind. It seems that Bolsonarism thinks that they also carry the seed of reactionism…
The far right lost the presidential election in Brazil two years ago. Even though Javier Milei and Donald Trump could feel comfortable in the same ideological proselytizing arena, local circumstances marked the election of one and the other. Their respective beliefs in economics, for example, could not be more different. One is the crazy person who wants to be a libertarian; the other was elected, as we know, promising crazy things about state interventionism even in the Central Bank.
In places where the people have been called to give their opinion, the majority choose order, development, progress, economic freedom, freedom of expression, respect for families and religion, patriotism. These are the flags that we, on the right, have been raising for years, even under serious authoritarian threats.
It is shocking to the intelligence that the reference leadership of the fascist hordes of the networks, who are dedicated to lynching people and groups averse to their prefigurations, dares to present themselves as a herald of freedom of expression.
