Bolsonaro will undergo surgery in the gut this Sunday (13) in Brasilia

Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) will undergo surgery at the gut in Brasilia between dawn and Sunday morning, 13, after decision of the medical team that accompanies him in Rio Grande do Norte.

According to PL leader in the House, Sostenes Cavalcante (RJ), Bolsonaro is fine, but will need to remove intestinal obstructions.

The plane with Bolsonaro will take off in the late afternoon of Saturday, 12, from Natal (RN), and arrive in the federal capital at night. He will land at Brasilia airport and will be taken by ambulance to the DFstar Hospital, which is in the South Wing. The route takes 10 minutes by car.

On Friday, 11, the former president felt severe abdominal pain and was urgently attended at the Aluízio Bezerra Municipal Hospital in Santa Cruz (RN). He was then transferred to Rio Grande Hospital in Natal.
