‘Botox Festival’, makeshift clinic and escape: fake doctor arrested in the USA

When the paramedics arrived, they found the unconscious woman. She was referred to the hospital and had to be intubated. The patient is without brain activity and, according to police, “it is unlikely to survive.”

The fake doctor was found by police a few hours after the escape at Kennedy Airport. He was trying to embark on a plane to Florida and would then go to Colombia. Hoyos-Foronda was arrested on charges of aggression and illegal exercise of medicine.

According to information from CBS News, the man admitted to “performed the surgical procedure to the victim without license to do so.” He also stated that he “administered lidocaine via syringe, causing his cardiac arrest.”

Suspect released his services on social networks

According to online records and ads, Hoyos-Foronda worked as a cosmetic surgeon. He performed his services in New York, Miami and Long Island and identified on social networks as a doctor.
