Boulos calls for Marçal’s arrest after the release of an alleged drug report
The candidate for mayor of São Paulo Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) stated last Friday night (4) that he requested the arrest of Pablo Marçal (PRTB), a competitor in the municipal election, in criminal justice, as well as measures in electoral justice. The self-proclaimed former coach had, shortly before, published an alleged medical record that would point to the federal deputy’s use of cocaine, which treats the document as false.
“Pablo Marçal has no limits. He published a false document on his social network wanting to support the fake news of him, which has already been unmasked, that I would use drugs”, said the federal deputy in a post on Instagram on Friday night. “We are now filing a request for his arrest and that of the clinic owner.”
The publication made by Marçal displays the image of an alleged referral of the PSOL candidate to a psychiatric service due to “a severe psychotic episode, persecutory delusions and homicidal ideas, in addition to mental confusion and episodes of agitation”.
The alleged document, signed in the name of doctor José Roberto de Souza (CRM 17064-SP), by the Mais Consulta clinic, in Jabaquara, south zone of São Paulo, says that an escort of the deputy would have presented a toxicological examination in which the result is positive for cocaine.
According to registration with the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM), the doctor in question is registered as deceased. There is still no specialty registered in your registry in the council system.
On the same date noted in the supposed record published by Marçal, January 19, 2021, the PSOL candidate went live in the morning, discussing the import of vaccines during the Covid-19 pandemic. The day after that, he attended an action by the Homeless Workers Movement (MTST), in the Vietnam favela, south of São Paulo, recorded in a post on his social networks.
After the publication of the document by Marçal, Boulos made a post showing a series of photos and videos of the PRTB candidate together with the owner of the Mais Consulta clinic, the biomedical Luiz Teixeira da Silva Junior – according to the CNPJ membership list, confirmed by the InfoMoney.
In 2021, the biomedical scientist was convicted in the 22nd Federal Court of Porto Alegre for trying to use a false medical degree and graduation certificate, using the name of the Serra dos Órgãos Educational Foundation, to the Regional Council of Medicine of Rio Grande from the South.
Shortly after making the first publication, with the image of the supposed document, Marçal returned to social media to publish a print in which the message “we have removed your publication” can be read, associated with the previous post. “Instagram removed my post. Congratulations on left-wing democracy. I think that’s fair”, reacted the candidate in the caption.
The candidate did not explain, however, whether the exclusion had occurred proactively by Meta, owner of Instagram, or whether the company had complied with the court decision.
