Brazil defends STF and Pix in response to US commercial investigation

The Brazilian government has today countered US accusations in response to commercial investigation opened by Donald Trump’s management, which has PIX as one of the targets and is based on section 301 of US trade legislation. In the document, the country defended the decisions of the Supreme Court (STF) and the Brazilian instant payment system.

American report was signed by UTR (US Commerce Representative Office).

What happened

Brazil stated that their laws do not in no way impair US trade. The country has stated that its business policies and practices are justifiable, fair, equitable and follow the rules and rules of the multilateral trade system.
